SMTP authentication for Eudora 5.1 on Microsoft Windows
Eudora 5.1 for Windows requires the
following changes to be made in order for you to use SMTP authentication:
- Run Eudora, go to the Tools menu, select Options.
- Select Sending Mail under the category list on the left.
- Change the SMTP Server text box to read: REMOTESMTP.WYITH.NET
- Ensure Allow Authentication is checked
- Under Secure Sockets when Sending, select NOT required, choose 5190 as the Alternate Port
- Click OK
